Thank You!!!
Thanks to everyone for coming to my birthday party on Saturday. I had a great time! I really enjoyed seeing everyone, and am having a great time playing with all the great new toys.

By the way, remember that race car bed I mentioned a couple of days ago? Well mommy and daddy helped me put it together yesterday and I slept in it for the first time last night. At first, it was kind of weird...I mean I'd never been able to get up out of bed on my own before. So, the first couple of times that mommy and daddy put me to bed, I was out of it before they could get to the door. Finally, I realized what the deal was and stayed put, much to their relief.

Coolest Present So Far
Not that present giving is a competition or anything, but I thought I'd share with you the absolute coolest birthday present so far...a race car bed!

Thanks CiCi and Paul Paul!

Lance Armstrong Widens Overall TdF Lead
Lance put in another excellent ride, in what many consider to be the toughest stage of this years race. Led up the final climb once again by his Postal Teammate, Roberto Heras, Lance launched off the front with a few km to go, eventually opening up a 1+ minute gap on Heras and the only rider able to keep up, Joseba Beloki.

After initially pulling away, Lance stayed relatively close, hoping that Heras could crack Beloki and then join him for a 2 man ride to the top. As it turned out, Heras ended up as a carrot for Beloki, and it was too dangerous to let Heras try to pull back up with Lance.

I can't wait to get home and watch the replay of this stage with daddy!

One Year Markers
I overheard daddy mention this last night...

It has been one year today since he was laid off by SBI (the Utah company that took over several marchFIRST offices, including the Denver office where daddy worked - after promising just a couple of weeks earlier, when they took over, that there would be no layoffs...anyway that office is now closed completely).

One year ago today was also the day before my first birthday, that means tomorrow is birthday number 2!

We are having a huge party tomorrow over at CiCi's house, I can't wait. Everyone will be there. Hopefully you will too.

Lance Armstrong Takes Tour de France Lead
As expected, Lance took the overall lead in the Tour de France and got his 13th career stage victory in the Tour. Hopefully daddy is planning on watching the highlights on OLNTV tonight.

Lance currently leads the number 2 rider, Joseba Beloki by 1:12. The best news of the day, aside from the win, is that Lance did not appear to exert much effort today, compared to his rivals. Tomorrow's stage is going to be terribly grueling, so it was good to conserve strength today.

Le Tour de France
I sure wish that this year was like last year, in that daddy was between projects and working from home, thus able to watch the TdF, thus I would be able to stay home with him and watch it too. Tomorrow the real race begins - the mountain stages. I can't wait to see how Lance does. I know many people are concerned after his 2nd place finish in the Time Trial stage a couple of days ago, but I'm not. If he is anywhere near the top of his form, he'll win this race, and win it in the mountain stages.

Daddy was saying that one of the announcers on OLNTV said that if Lance is able to maintain his high cadence through the mountains, as he has done in past years, he fully expects him to win by 10+ minutes. While that would be awesome, I just don't see Lance putting that much time into the competition, but you never know. Of course I expect Lance to win, but even that is not a given. Afterall, if we absolutely knew who would win, would we bother watching?

Redesign and Old Content
I've redesigned my site...ok, daddy did it, but I directed him as to which colors to use. Do y'all like it? I call it "the crayon".

If you are in dire need of content from the old site, such as pictures and my vital statistics, you can find them here.

It's My Birthday (Soon)
Hellooooooo!

I've missed you guys...really really. I am having a birthday soon! I am going to be 2 years old. Mommy and daddy took me shopping for some presents this past weekend. I thought I saw them put some stuff in our basket, but I haven't seen it since then, oh well.

Did y'all know that my vocabulary is getting to be pretty big? I am even putting together simple sentences (and sometimes some complex ones too, when daddy helps me out).

If you are curious as to what I'd like for my birthday, I'd really dig having my own donkey :-).
