Chilly Here In Denver
Hi everyone (especially y'all Texans still basking in 90°F + temperatures),

I woke up this morning to a white wonderland! My first snow, can you believe it? And it's still September!

Mommy and Daddy aren't taking me outside, though. I have the sniffles right now. However, Daddy took several pictures of the snow for me, including one of my puppy, plus I get to look outside the window at it all. It's really cool.

Thanks to the lack of storage for this web site, Daddy is finally resizing all of the pictures. That means that as pictures are resized, they will move from the regular pictures directory and go into the thumbnails directory.

Enjoy the new pictures that we just put up. Time to watch football.

Brrrr
Brrrrr....it's mighty chilly up here in Denver. As I write this, it is 34° F outside. Mighty cold for my little body. We even have a 70% chance of snow tomorrow night. It was 95° F just last Sunday. Oh well, it looks like this could be fun. Mommy is dressing me in all these clothes I didn't even know I had. Long sleeves, pants, a hat...where did they all come from?

Daddy got back from Las Vegas last night, he seemed a bit tired from his travels. He told Mommy that he didn't win any money, but that he did get lots of good info to help further his career.

Time for bed.

Longhorns blech
Shhh...don't tell Mommy or Daddy that I said this, but Texas sucked ass tonight. They really reminded me of the Dallas Cowboys. Daddy is pissed, uh, I mean he is mad.

Oh well, at least I got to go driving around today and see different areas of Denver. That was fun. My whole existince has been limited mostly to the south side of town. I even got to see the light rail that runs downtown. Maybe someday, I will get to ride it.

Time for bed. I haven't slept much today, and I am sure that Mommy and Daddy are ready to get some sleep.

Some Song Lyrics
The following are lyrics for a song that Mommy and Daddy played for me recently. It is by Lee Ann Womack.

I Hope You Dance

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat, but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed.

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance...

I hope you dance...I hope you dance...

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance,
Never settle for the path of least resistance,
Living might mean taking chances but they're worth taking,
Loving might be a mistake but it's worth making.

Don't let some hell bent heart make you bitter,
When you come close to selling out reconsider,
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance...

I hope you dance...I hope you dance...
I hope you dance...I hope you dance...
Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance...

Dance, I hope you dance...
I hope you dance...I hope you dance...
I hope you dance...I hope you dance...
Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.

Life on the Ranch
Hi Family and Friends, Jacob here with another blog for you all to enjoy.

Life here on the ranch is full of fun and new and interesting things. For example, we just learned that my swing is also a recliner. So now when I swing, I can recline, which means my head is less likely to fall forward as I dose off to sleep.

I have also discovered this cool thing that hangs above my crib. It is my Winnie The Pooh mobile. It plays this really cool song, and all the animals move around.

One last thing, there are new pictures available.

Later,
-Jacob

Hot Hot Dallas
Well, me and Mommy have finally recovered from our trip to the desert otherwise known as Dallas.

We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back at Thanksgiving, this time with Daddy. Speaking of Daddy, I finally got him to put the pictures from our trip up on the site. Don't forget to check them out.

Time to go to a BBQ, I chat with y'all later. Hook'em Horns...I almost forgot to mention that I got to watch my first University of Texas football game today. Daddy and I watched the game together. That Major Applewhite is something else! Did I mention those receivers? Holy cow! That is some group of wide-outs...Roy WIlliams is going to be a star on Sundays if he continues they way he started his college career today.

Bye,
-Jacob
